POSTPONED TO NEXT TUESDAY: Breaking Together: Navigating the Ecological Crisis Discussion Group In-Person

The first meeting for this program is POSTPONED as the library is closed due to a maintenance issue. We're sorry for the inconvenience! Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 19th where we will discuss the first chapter.

With extreme heat, fires, floods, unstable economic conditions and more, do you have anxiety about the future? Much research indicates that collapse of all facets of modern society has already begun: economic, monetary, energy, biosphere, climate, and food. What is your sense of this? And what can we do about it? Join others for a look at this research and an opportunity to discuss these ideas together. We will be using "Breaking Together" by Jem Bendell (can be ordered from any bookseller) as a guide for our discussion, beginning with Chapter 1 at our first meeting. Please read Chapter 1 prior to our first session.

Program facilitators are Mary Gleason and Martha Sullivan.
