Learn to Play Ukulele for Beginners and Intermediate Players: Part I In-Person

This two-part music class focuses on playing ukulele with chords, rhythms and vocal melodies of familiar and favorite songs. This class is a series, when you register, you will be signed up for both sessions, you must attend the first class to attend the second class. Students will learn how to play the ukulele and more about music overall with easy and fun songs. All student abilities, interests and goals will be included in these lessons. This class is  intended for ages 16 and up, with no prior experience necessary. Ukuleles are provided or feel free to bring your own!

Taught by music teacher and singer/songwriter Mike Baker. Mike is a former high school and community college instructor, local musician, and passionate teacher of music for all ages. Mike leads children's music programs and teaches ukulele and guitar. Mike also records and performs music  https://soundcloud.com/mike-baker-116. Mike's pedagogy is intended to promote musical sense-abilities (musicality) through joyful and creative engagement in making music. Bringing music to life is a great gift, and learning to play the ukulele is a great way to start.
