Family Treasures: Crafting Genealogy Photo Memory Books In-Person

Participants will…
1. learn techniques to organize and compile family history materials, including photos, genealogy records, and personal stories.
2. explore creative design methods for assembling visually appealing and meaningful memory books.
3. discover strategies for incorporating key family dates, such as births, anniversaries, and special events, into their projects.
4. gain skills to include family recipes and other cultural heritage elements in their memory books.
5. understand the value of preserving family history for future generations and learn how to share completed memory books with loved ones.

Presented by Eric Vaughn. Eric serves as a delegate for the National Genealogical Society (NGS) and is an active member of the Rochester Genealogical Society (RGS) in Rochester, New York. Starting in July 2023, he assumed the roles of President and Chair for Social Media for RGS. Previously, he served as the Second Vice-President and Coordinator for the Technology Interest Group from 2021 to 2023.
