Simple Self Care

Simple Self Care Online

“Self-Care” is an over-used and often misunderstood word – a concept that is being monetized, tracked, and turned into just one more thing to do. Self-care is often seen as a selfish act that somehow takes away from others or from other “more important” things. Sometimes we think it’s a once and done thing – figure it out and check it off the list! Nope!! It is not selfish, it is not one more to-do, and it is an ongoing practice.

Self-care is hard enough on a good day for any of us, but add a global pandemic to that, and the tables have really been flipped… What does self-care mean in this time and how can you find simple ways to care for your body, mind, heart, and spirit in the midst of self-quarantining, re-creating business, homeschooling kids, starting a whole new enterprise, or even trying to do the daily things that now take that much more time and energy? In this time where we can only take life one moment at a time, what will support and sustain you?

In this session, Barb Klein, chief Possibilitator at Inspired Possibility, will share the way she looks at self-care, help you to see why it’s the foundation of everything else, and guide you to know your own needs and tendencies better. You’ll see what’s getting in the way of self-care, break through these obstacles, and identify some practices or strategies you can begin trying out right away. You will leave with some simple next steps and a commitment to honor yourself, moment by moment, even in a global pandemic.
