Gardeners Favorites – Growing the Most Popular Veggies In-Person
Smart gardeners know that growing fresh vegetables is anything but a Sunday afternoon idle pass time. Many factors need to come together, hard work applied and time spent to set the plants off to a good start. In this class the participants will learn seasonal care for the most popular members of your Garden of Eden with emphasis on the fall activities. We will discuss some of the most popular vegetables, including the cold-hardy produce, their care and harvest to maximize the season extension in our short growing climate. We will learn their strength and weaknesses as well as ways of incorporating them into your seeding plan for increased yield to get the most out of your hard work.
