Travelogue: Walking the Caminos in Spain and Portugal In-Person

The Camino de Santiago or the Way of St. James is one of the most popular pilgrimage routes in the world. Since the Middle Ages, pilgrims from all over the world have walked the Camino routes leading to Santiago de Compostella. Join Diane Zielinski of Gates as she describes her experiences walking both the final 100 km. of the best-known Camino across Spain in 2016 and then, the Coastal Camino in Portugal three years later.  Hear about the people she met from around the world and the physical challenges of the walks, plus see some historic and scenic sites on these ancient routes.

Diane Zielinski is a veteran traveler and popular local travelogue presenter who has given talks about her trips to Spain, Portugal, Iceland and even the newest tourism and filmmaking destination in NY, the Capital District city of Troy.
